Gangstar Vegas Online Hack – Android/iOS
When we are talking about games that are GTA style, we know the expectations are high and mighty. And I think that this game right here covers them all. Mobile developer Gameloft has long had a reputation for producing quality games. Cue Gangstar Vegas, the latest in the Gangster series, the mafia don of smartphone street crime games. Taking some of its influences from the violence-laden callous cityscapes similar to that of Grand Theft Auto, here you get to steal cars and drive them, engage in a shootout or beat up random people up. It’s a seedy world made even worse by being set in Las Vegas where the boundaries are lifted and the action – as unoriginal as it may be – is left to flourish. Being based on GTA and the likes of Saints Row is no bad thing, however, since these are games that have captured the imagination of gamers for years. What lets this game down is the controls, which are fiddly and don’t always do what you want them to. It detracts from an otherwise very promising game that, due to its incredible graphics that are very much in the console league, weighs in at a staggering 2.5GB.
But you can see why it’s a big game with a price tag to match. The voice acting is superb, the story missions (and side missions) are a treat and well thought out in terms of proving maximum fun. As you get better, you are rewarded so that you can have greater firepower. It’s a deep game that tries to give that sandbox feel of GTA. To this end, you can pop into a casino and play some mini-games. A little annoying is the plethora of on-screen graphics. There are just so many, whether it’s the map, the controls, the actions or the weapons. This would be all well and good if they actually worked exactly as you’d want them to but their lack of response can get in the way and can ruin the game at a critical moment. We do hope this gets resolved in an update, but it wouldn’t be enough to put us off.
- Great visuals
- Amazing gameplay
- Great graphics and sound
- As I said above, this game is nothing new as an idea or gameplay, but it is amazing to see such a game with so much detailed graphics and great gameplay on a mobile device. So Gameloft deserves a chance on this one.
